Samsung has officially confirmed the rollout of its Android 15-based One UI 7 update, expanding the list of eligible devices. Initially, the company announced support for select models, but more Galaxy phones and tablets have now been added to the lineup.
Samsung recently disclosed that One UI 7 will first arrive on flagship models like the Galaxy S23, Galaxy A55, and the latest foldable devices. Now, the update is also coming to older models, including the Galaxy S22 Series, Galaxy S21 Series (including S21 FE), Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Tablet users aren’t left out either, with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Galaxy Tab S8 Series, and Galaxy Tab S6 Lite also making the cut.
While the specific version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite receiving the update remains uncertain, the 2024 variant is the most likely candidate. The 2022 model, which launched with Android 12, has yet to be confirmed for the upgrade.
Interestingly, popular mid-range models like the Galaxy A54, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A25 remain absent from the confirmed list, despite their expected software support under Samsung’s policy.
Samsung has yet to announce exact rollout dates for all eligible devices. However, sources indicate that One UI 7 will launch on April 7 for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Tab S10+/Ultra in South Korea and India. The U.S. is expected to follow on April 10, with additional regions receiving the update shortly thereafter.
For older Galaxy models, the update is anticipated around April 10, though rollout timelines may vary based on region and device variant. Users should stay tuned for further announcements from Samsung regarding their specific device eligibility and release schedules.
